Quarterly Priority Goals is a concise list of 3-7 critical tasks that your organization must accomplish within the next 90 days to align with its annual strategic plan.
On Simplamo, these are referred to as "Goals".

Step 1: Select the Responsible Team Identify the team that will be responsible for creating the goal. For company-level goals, select the "Leadership Team". (1)
To proceed, navigate to the "Goals" (2) feature on the horizontal toolbar. Then, move to create new goals and press "Create Goals" (3) to start step 2.
Step 2: Create Goals
Select "Create Rocks" to create a new goal and fill in the following details:
Goal Title: Provide a clear and concise title.
Goal Type: Select the appropriate level (Company, Department, or Individual).
Parent Goal: Assign the higher-level goal this goal supports.
Goal Owner: Assign the individual accountable for the goal.
Description: Clearly articulate the following:
- Importance: Why is this goal critical?
- Urgency: What is the time-sensitive nature of this goal?
- Desired Outcome: What is the specific, measurable outcome?
Session: Select the current business session.
Click "Create" to finalize the goal.
Step 3: Create Milestones
After successfully creating an goal, you need to set up milestones to measure the progress of its execution by answering the question "What steps need to be completed to achieve the goal?"
To create milestones, follow these steps:
Click "Create Milestone"
Enter the "Title" of the milestone
Choose the "Milestone Type". There are three types of milestones you can consider based on your needs:
- Measured Milestone: These are quantifiable milestones with specific targets in terms of numbers/percentages or specific amounts of money, with an initial and a target value.
- Tracked Milestone: These are milestones that follow steps in your workflow. They are planned clearly and generally.
- Done/Not-Done Milestone: This type evaluates tasks as either "Completed" or "Not Completed" in a qualitative manner.
For example, for the goal “CSuccessfully released a document system for the electronics and renewable energy industry”, the key progress milestones needed to achieve this goal might be as the following image; with (1) as tracked milestones, (2) as a measured milestone and (3) as a Done/Not-Done one.
