Organization Chart Overview

First, it’s necessary to acknowledge that there are many methods for building a company’s organization chart, namely:

  • Matrix model
  • Functional model
  • Flat organization model
  • Geographical organization model
  • and so on.

Simplamo uses "Functional model” but we add more points in order to emphasize the accountability and encourage high proactivity.

After completing the Organization Chart on Simplamo, your company will achieve:

  • A right - simple - clear structure
  • Elimination of multiple confusing reporting lines between managers and employees

To establish or modify your Organization Chart, follow these steps:

  • Step 1: On the left-hand toolbar, click on the "Organization Chart" feature.

  • Step 2: The screen will display the proposed structure of 3 common functions. You can click on the pencil icon to edit each function name.

    You can also add new appropriate functions by clicking on the plus sign symbol (+).

  • Step 3: Continue adding roles for each function by clicking on the pencil icon, then the plus sign symbol (+) as well.

  • Remember to click "Save" after each establishment or modification.

  • In addition, Simplamo's system also supports exporting PDF files for convenient storage and management.
